Dania Antinori started studying Ballet at age 6 at the Conservatory of Luxembourg, as well as other private dance schools in Luxembourg. In 1999, she entered the Laban Center in London, UK, a leading conservatory of contemporary dance, and graduated in 2002 with a BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre Studies. After graduating, she moved to New York City to specialize in modern dance, especially the Cunningham technique in the world-renowned Merce Cunningham Dance Studio. She also followed classes in ballet and modern dance at Dance New Amsterdam, NYC.

As a dancer, she has appeared in different productions since 1998, both in Europe (UK, Luxembourg, France) and the United States.

Choreographers she has worked for include, amongst others, Filip Van Hufel (Retina Dance Company, London), Michel Wallace (Yozo Fass Dance Company, London), Gina Graham (Esse Afficionado, New York City), Cathy Kerr (independent choreographer and former MCDC member, New York City).

She has also participated in the piece Motion Sculpture , choreographed by Claire Barratt and presented at the DUMBO Arts Festival in New York City in 2003.

Since 2004, she creates her own choreographies. They have been produced both in Luxembourg and New York City. In 2005 she collaborated on a dance on video project with French video artist Yseult Digan.

Her choreographic approach is to utilize and extend the training she has gathered in her body over the years. Very influenced by early modern dance and post-modern ballet, she uses the relationship of Ballet, Cunningham and Modern techniques as a functional base, creating her own personal style, which reflects dynamic lyricism, expansive use of the back and limbs, musicality and muscality.
